Music At St. John's Birthday Fundraiser

My Dad's turning 50!
It's a Birthday Open House and Fundraiser Celebrating a Half Century of Life and Music

Join us as we celebrate Ken Brooks' first 50 years on the planet, 42 years of music since that first piano lesson with Mrs. Beverly Emerson in Bolivar, Tennessee way back in 1968, and FOUR years as Minister of Music at St. John's, Jamaica Plain. Don't bring any presents, but we hope you'll give generously to support JP Concerts (www.jpconcerts.org), Night Song (www.nightsong.org), and music programs here at St. John's.

When: Saturday, February 13th, 2010, 5-9 p.m.
Where: St. John's Episcopal Church
1 Roanoke Avenue (Roanoke Avenue at Revere Street)
Jamaica Plain, MA 02130

There will be music, a jester, contests, a silent auction, games, food, friends, and fellowship. For more info, or to RSVP, contact Tiny or Jim at 617.291.6855 or jellisboston@yahoo.com.

If you can't attend, please show your support with a check made out to St. John's for music. Your donation is 100% tax deductible, and 100% of it will go to JP Concerts, Night Song, and music programs at St. John's. Your tax-deductible donation will help us continue the work we do to support the arts and music in Jamaica Plain.
