Art & Music

St. John's has a long and illustrious tradition as a community hub of art and music. Our building itself is a 19th century architectural landmark with one of the oldest and most beautiful Black Madonna stained-glass-windows in the country, as well as a rare Lafarge stained-glass-window. Our sanctuary is home to a Hook Opus 303 organ and is an acoustically renowned space. We have hosted a variety of classical, jazz, and other musical concerts and events over our 150 year history, and take pride in our commitment to sustaining this tradition.

Check this space in the future for more information about St. John's rich history and present life as one of Jamaica Plain's most active and committed patrons of art and music.
