The church of the future depends upon our children.

We continue to find ways to involve youth meaningfully in our worship service and guide them in developing a foundation from which to further explore their faith.  We have a group of extremely dedicated Sunday School teachers, some of whom have been teaching Sunday School for over 20 years. For our younger children, we have adopted a modified Godly Play curriculum, relying on a story telling approach to help develop and nurture our young children’s knowledge and faith. For our older children and youth, we have taken a more activity-based or service-delivery approach as a way to strengthen their Christian understanding and faith. We do this by getting our children involved in a variety of parish- and community-wide projects, including gathering and delivering food for a local food pantry and making and sending cards to people on our parish prayer list.

“You are a child of God. You are wonderfully made, dearly loved, and precious in His sight.”
