Many people, when they think about racism, describe personal racism—individuals exhibiting harsh, hateful behavior towards Black people or People of Color. Systemic Racism refers to systems within a society that are often harder to see, especially for those that benefit from those systems. Here’s an example of how widespread and limiting systemic racism is.
